players. As the orchestra budget in the 19th century was reduced the wind
quintet was created, a combination that is very well known today. Transport
yourself to Paris in 1820 while listening to the fashionable and rich sound
of five historical wind instruments, often played by the five master
teachers of the Conservatoire de Paris, with their perfect blend of

such as Rossini, Reicha and Cambini.
