Joanna Marsden and Mark Edwards will present a recital of French classical music for flute and harpsichord.
The concert will feature sonatas by François Devienne, nicknamed the French Mozart, with pieces by greatest harpsichordists of the age of Enlightenment: Duphly, Balbastre and Schobert. These are among the last pieces written for baroque flute and harpsichord in France.
Award-winning young and experienced artists, Joanna Marsden (Second Prize of the National Flute Association Baroque Artist) and Mark Edwards (First Prize MA Festival Bruges) specialize in historical performance.
